I've seen several mom blogs that use pasta as sensory play for 1 year olds. Luke is very hands-on these days so I thought I'd give it a try. It was easy - boil water, cook pasta, and let it cool. Luke liked it for about one minute. Then he said "all done." I tried to add some spoons and toy cars for fun. Nope. He was all done. Not interested. Get me out of this high chair. I did manage to keep him in the chair long enough for Clare to make the letter G with three noodles. She too did not enjoy the new activity. (Is it a coincidence that they don't like to eat spaghetti at dinner either)?
