Luke was baptized last Saturday by Father Steve at the church where Stephen & I were married in 2004. It was a beautiful day. We were blessed to have Father Steve, our priest from Oregon, visit us for several days after he baptized Luke. It meant a lot to us that he said yes to the long Midwest trip. He also baptized Clare at our parish in Oregon back in 2010. Who knows where we'll ask him to travel for the next babies! We were also blessed to have the godparents (my friend Stef from Columbus, and Steve's buddy Shane from Fort Wayne) and the grandparents at the church to see Luke receive his first sacrament.
