DIY Edible Glitter.

I found this idea on:  www. planetpals . com
It was super easy to make the glitter from salt.  However, it did not sparkle like real glitter.  Clare didn't mind - she didn't know the difference.  This was her first glitter experience.  She had more fun with the giant craft glue stick.  We had construction paper for the project, but Clare insisted on digging for rocks and "painting" the rocks with glitter rather than the paper.  I went with it.  It was cute.  And she got to use her imagination.  I probably won't cycle glitter crafts into our routine until next year.  She wasn't too excited about the glitter but it kept us outside and active for a half hour.
