The kids like playing in the water table so I tried to mix things up a bit and added dinosaurs. I froze little plastic dinosaurs (from the Dollar Tree) in colored water in old bowls. The kids stayed busy with trying to get the dinosaurs from the ice. Clare was patient and was still there when the ice finally melted and she scored the dinosaurs. Luke, well, he tried climbing in the water table. Then he took an ice chunk and threw it down the slide. He tried to put one in his hat. He didn't stay as engaged as Clare. Maybe he was venting his frustration because I dressed him in a pink sun shirt...
