We did a few special things during Lent that helped teach Clare a little more about the Lenten season. We made brownie treats together. Then we added frosting and sprinkles. And then we spent a morning delivering them to special people (preschool, library, church, YMCA). Clare also helped me with two Sunshine Packages for two elderly friends in Oregon. We purchased dollar store coffee mugs and designed them with Sharpies (then bake in oven at 350 for 30 mins). We added other little gifts to the box before taking them on an adventure to the post office. We also shared a brownie with the postal clerk. It's amazing how people react to kindness.
