Clare is 3!

Clare is a blessing!  She is so funny.  I like this age.  She is witty, smart, and happy.  She's in preschool and loves it.  She is potty trained.  She is independent.  She can be stubborn.  She's adventurous.  She loves to snuggle.  She still takes a nap!  Of course, there are days when she fights me on what shirt she wants to wear.  And she'll tell me how to brush my teeth.  And days when she doesn't want to eat anything except grilled cheese sandwiches with amish cheese.  But what a sweet blessing.  She loved her big 3 year old birthday party.  She hugged her giant lollipop on several occasions.  She loved all the friends and family who celebrated with us.  She had a blast opening presents.  It was simply a wonderful day.  Lets have more parties!  Why not?!

Clare suggested a lollipop party several weeks before her birthday.  I have no idea where she thought of this because we don't have lollipops at our house.  She said, "mommy, can we have the lollipops that are big and swirly with a lot of colors?"  I said yes without any clue how to surprise her with a fun lollipop party.  It started with the invitations being a lollipop.  And from there, well, things escalated a bit.  Take a look below... it was all worth it.  We had a wonderful day celebrating the third year of having Clare in our lives.
