Mmmmm Marshmallows.

We had a rainy day last week so we went thru the cupboards to find something new to play with - mini marshmallows and cupcake sticks.  She had fun dumping the bag of marshmallows, scooping them with a measuring spoon, putting them into ice cube trays, and eating them by the handfuls.  I was a little bored with this one but Clare seemed to enjoy it.  She kept grabbing sticks and putting marshmallows on each end.  I felt I had to stay close so she wouldn't consume the whole bag of marshmallows  or poke herself with the sticks.  If it wasn't for that, it would have been the perfect activity for me to do the dishes, make lunch, or do some laundry.  She was engaged for a lot longer than I would have guessed.
