We made about six dozen cookies between Veteran's Day and Thanksgiving. Our favorite was the Pumpkin Whoopie Pie Cookies. We gave several to the Veterans at the VA Hospital in Fort Wayne. And then we delivered several to neighbors and friends as a small way of saying thanks for their friendship. Clare had fun delivering the little packages. We gave one to our priest, Father Ron. When we left the church Clare said, "Are we giving one to Father Steve? I'm thankful for Father Steve."
