Branching Out in the Kitchen.

I like to make dinner, but sometimes the prep and clean-up take the fun out of things.  I recently tried two new recipes.  Both were a success.  The first one was chicken cordon blue from The Girl Who Ate Everything.com.  It was easy and excellent.  The second one was acorn squash from the Pioneer Woman.com.  It was also very easy with minimal clean-up.  However, no one really liked the squash except for me, so I got a little burn out on squash by day three.  It was pretty sweet with the maple syrup and brown sugar.

I make a similar squash, but with ground sausage (no brown sugar) topped with syrup - yum!!
