A few weeks ago we went on a road trip to a local farm that sells meat. I was surprised that it was only a little log cabin. There were 12 coolers/freezers inside the cabin. Each one had different items for sale (brats, pork patties, hamburger, bacon, etc). At the door, there was a little can to put your cash or check. It made me smile. The simple life. The honor system. And a free swing ride on the tire horse. Well, not so free. We did contribute $30 bucks for farm fresh brats, one package being duck and pork links!
