I love flowers. So as a treat to myself, I decorated the house with several flowers to match our color theme. (I read on a mom blog that the mom and dad should also do something special for themselves on their kids birthdays as a treat for being blessed with kids and raising them day by day). At the end of the day, we bundled up the flowers into mini bouquets and delivered them to seniors at the catholic nursing home the next day for Easter.
