Will you be my AP?

AP as in “accountability partner.”

(I revised this posting after some valuable feedback from two friends. Thanks to those of you who have emailed, called, or sent me a text).

I'm looking for a few buddies to help me this year with a few personal goals. For everything from spiritual growth and purity to healthy eating and reading -- a valuable key to any change is having an accountability partner.

"At the end of the day, just knowing that someone is going to ask you how you’re doing with a goal or resolution can be the extra bit of motivation you need to stay on track."

Kristy's goals:
1) try a new recipe once a month (feel free to email me one of your favorite recipes)
2) learn more about the Saints (read "Saints in a Year" or something similar); pray rosary once a week
3) read "Gardening for Dummies"; start a garden
4) explore a new park, walk a new trail, or find an outdoor adventure once a month
5) forget about organization -- meaning, let the house get messy; let the laundry stack up; let the bills sit for a couple of days -- do all this without getting the shakes and freaking out

I'm sure more goals will be added in the next couple of days but this is a great starter list. I'm pretty excited! To all my family and friends who follow this blog, will you consider being one of my AP's in the new year?

Can I learn about the saints with you? We can be accountable together.

This is a good list of goals. I adopted the forget organization idea when Kritie and Aaron were small. Enjoy this time with Claire ~ it is so worth it! Share the recipes if you find any good ones. Keep posting...
