DAY TWO

Day Two highlights: 1) Clare had three sweet little girls -- Hannah, Emma, and Jill -- to greet her in the morning. My favorite Emma quote was "Hey Kris, I'll put my finger in Clare's mouth anytime she gets fussy." Anytime Clare squeaked, Emma was there offering her finger. It was priceless. 2) Steve took Clare swimming in the lake. She even got her first chance at trying the rope swing! We took everyone on a pontoon ride and then found a fishing hole where we dropped our poles for a half hour but no bites. Steve then gave the girls a ride around the lake on the wave runner. 3) The girls took a drive through the country to spy on some Amish. I sat in the back between Emma and Hannah. Half way through the trip, Hannah points at the mole on the side of my face and says, "What's that?" I told her it was my brain button. When I get too smart or talk too much, Steve will push it to put me in off mode. After my brain is rested, he'll push it again to turn it back on. She was speechless. About a half hour later she taps me on the knee and says in a quiet voice, "Kris, is that really a brain button?" I laughed and laughed. And then I told her it was really a mole.
