Day One highlights: 1) Clare's first boat ride on the pontoon around Westler Lake. She loved taking boat rides! 2) Clare getting lots of snuggle time with Grandma & Grandpa Vachon. 3) Clare's first Craft Day with her Godmother Jill and cousins Emma & Hannah. The girls were so sweet. They made a dozen crosses and gave them to family as little gifts after Clare's baptismal celebration. 4) And of course, Clare's first meeting with the Amish! The lake house is in NE Indiana, and there is a huge Amish community in this area. Every night we'd hear the klop klop klop of the horses that were pulling the Amish buggies. Steve's mom had an Amish lady bake five loafs of bread, which were ready for us at arrival -- I heart Amish bread!
