We took a 2 mile walk through the historic district of Cottage Grove. It was pretty interesting. We saw several old victorian homes, walked thru a covered bridge from 1867, and crossed the river on a swaying foot bridge. We then spotted some excitement at the local American Legion. A sidewalk sale is always a bonus when walking with mom! The walked ended with yummy BBQ Pork sandwiches from BBQ Stuff restaurant. Mom even browsed the used bookstore for Dr. Seuss books while I was nursing Clare. And it wasn't your average used book store: this one had books, bread, and beer. We even browsed the booths at the annual Bohemian Mining Days.
